Josh, If you hop into iLab's MS Teams channel, Hugh from Purdue certainly has solutions for almost any scenario. --Matt *Matt DeVries MS, MS* *Administrative Director of Core Services and Shared Resources* *Case Western Reserve University: School of Medicine - **Office of Research Administration* *Case Western Reserve University: Office of Research & Technology Management* *216.368.1266* <email obscured> <email obscured>>*

They just turn power on to the outlet. If you have a system that is remotely sensitive to power surges, I would not recommend it. Unless you turn the machine off before you trigger the interlock.
Thanks Matt! How do we join the MS Team? Gary - we definitely want to avoid hard power cycling on these instruments Josh
Hi Josh, I'm not sure which relays iLabs supports, but with our system (NUcore) one of the options is a Dataprobe relay. Dataprobe uses a main controller that flips remote power relays using a low voltage signal line. Some of our engineers have co-opted the low voltage lines to control other electronics.

Thanks Jeff! This is exactly what I am looking for - any more specific info would be great Matt - I have reached out to the iLab folks for access
Josh
I use them to power on and off the monitors/screens used by instruments as opposed to the instruments
