Dear Colleagues, We have an opening for a biological high-field NMR manager. Please circulate with those who may be interested. The University of Arizona department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Research Support Services invites applications for a part-time Researcher/Scientist III<https://arizona.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/4/home/requisition/10109?c=arizona> or Researcher/Scientist IV<https://arizona.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/4/home/requisition/10112?c=arizona> to manage the Molecular Structures core facility. The Molecular Structures Core provides equipment and expertise for researchers performing structural and dynamics measurements of biological macromolecules. Its equipment includes cryoprobe-equipped 800 MHz and 600 MHz Avance NEO NMR spectrometers. For a full time position, we invite applicants to apply for a Researcher/Scientist III<https://arizona.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/4/home/requisition/10336?c=arizona> or Researcher/Scientist IV<https://arizona.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/4/home/requisition/10111?c=arizona> to manage the Molecular Structures core facility (MSC) and join the new Walti lab, with effort split between the two labs. The Walti lab is interested in studying the interaction of chaperones with amyloids causing neurodegenerative disorders with a focus on Hsp60 and Alzheimer's disease. The lab mainly employs solution-state high field NMR but also a wide range of other biophysical methods, such as cryo-EM, EPR spectroscopy or fluorescence measurements. Best, Brooke Massani
