Sheenah,
We have one internal rate that everyone (JHU) is charged and for our Cancer
Center members we apply a subsidy to that rate which reduces the final cost to
them. Essentially they are paying the same internal rate as everyone, it's
just that some of the payment for those charges are from a different funding
source (CCSG support). This is in keeping compliant with federal guidelines
which states that rates should not discriminate between activities Federal
awards, non-federal awards and internal funding sources.

Subject: [core administrators network forum] Cancer Center member pricing
Dear Colleagues,
This question is directed to those of you who are administrators for NCI
supported cancer center cores. When determining pricing, does your
institution support a two price model (cancer center vs. non-cancer center
members) differentiated by financial support provided by CCSG vs.
institution/other
OR
one subsidized pricing model that represents an aggregate of financial support
(CCSG plus institution and other support)?
If you would rather respond to me directly, my contact information is listed
below.
Thank you in advance,
Sheenah
