Are these all basic science/deidentified clinical science samples? Our Prion Surveillance Center Tissue/Brain bank implemented Lab Matrix with tube/specimen labeling and scanners a few years ago and are happy, but it needed to ensure hard walls between data/identifier elements based on the user requesting the sample, as well as the facility teams working with them.
